On October, 9^th 2006 at 9PM Amy Kortlang was killed by a drunk driver. That sounds like an accident that happens every day in the United States. The problem was that it was no accident. It was the foreseeable outcome of the actions of the driver, the federal, state and local government officials and businesses that decide that their profits are more important than obeying the law.
